Immigration and Asylum

At Katani & Co, we pride ourselves in providing advice covering a wide range of Immigration issues which impact our clients. Please see below for the list of services we offer:

Individuals (Settling, Studying and Working)

If you wish you join family, study or work within in the UK, we can assess your eligibility and help you submit a successful application. Our Immigration solicitors will advise you on what best suits your needs.

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)

If you have lived in the UK for a number of years and wish to settle in the UK, ILR will allow you to achieve this. Depending on the number of years you have lived in the UK (which includes a minimum period of time), will determine if you will be granted ILR.

Naturalisation

If you have lived, worked and settled in UK, you may wish to make an application to become naturalised. If you are successful, you will be granted British Citizenship.  This will allow you to travel unrestricted within the European Union and hold a British Passport. You will need to meet certain eligibility requirements for your application to be successful.

Entry Clearance Applications

Our team can provide tailored advice of the options available to you and your family members wishing to make an application for entry clearance (visa) to travel to the UK.

We can also provide advice on your options if a family member has been refused a visitor visa.

Spouse Visas

Does your husband or wife live abroad?

We can help prepare an application for entry clearance for them to join you in the UK.  This will include completion of necessary visa application forms, advising you of the evidence required and of the minimum income requirements of the Immigration Rules. We can also provide advice for applications that fail to meet the financial requirements of the Immigration Rules and prepare detailed human rights applications on your behalf.

Fiance(e) visa

If you wish to marry your partner in UK, you may need to apply for a visa before coming to UK. This must be done from outside of UK before you can register to marry.
