Francesca obtained her legal qualifications at the University of Dundee before completing her traineeship and then working with a popular high street firm before joining Katani & Co in 2017. 
Francesca’s case load is focused on advising clients on matters relating to: the children’s hearing system, contact and residence disputes, divorce and separation, the rights of cohabiting couples,interdicts, parental rights, the Hague Convention, and specific issue orders. 
Francesca is known for her understanding and supportive manner when assisting her clients, and considers and explains all options available to reach a resolution which often involves negotiations with opponents which can understandably be difficult to conduct without the assistance of a solicitor When this is not possible, Francesca has extensive experience of appearing in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland, as well as within the Children’s Hearing System, and is determined in representing her client’s views and protecting their interests. 
Francesca has a particular interest in obtaining urgent court orders such as interdicts, protecting the best interests and wellbeing of children, as well as ensuring a parent’s relationship with a childfollowing the breakdown of a relationship is maintained where this is in the child’s best interests. She has a history of successfully obtaining court orders for divorce, residence, contact, specific issues, interdict, and parental rights. 
Francesca has been instructed by not only parents, but also by grandparents and children in respect of a variety of disputes surrounding family law. She isdescribed by clients as being supportive, attentive, understanding and proactive. Francesca understands the importance of a personable approach when assisting clients with what is often a very difficult time in their lives.
In her spare time Francesca enjoys travelling, walking her dogand spending time with friends and family.
