Jordanna graduated with an Honours Degree in Law from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and went on to complete her Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Stirling in 2009.
She qualified as a solicitor in August 2016 and joined Katani & Co Solicitors in March 2020.
Jordanna regularly appears at the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal in Glasgow, representing clients in asylum, immigration and deportation appeals.
She is experienced in handling Judicial Review cases and instructing Counsel to challenge decisions of public bodies at the Court of Session.
She has a particular interest in asylum and refugee law. Jordanna’s focus is on assisting particularly vulnerable asylum clients, including unaccompanied minors, victims of trafficking, and victims of torture.
In addition, Jordanna handles applications for leave to remain under the Immigration rules, naturalisation applications, applications under the EEA Regulations, and family reunion visa applications.
Jordanna accepts referrals from other agencies supporting people with immigration issues.
